MEET CANDY:
My name is Candy Joubert (pronounced Joe-Bear) and I am the owner of Consider Hope Services. From a trauma-informed perspective, I believe gentleness and sensitivity to other's experiences are vital components for counseling. I have developed an honest, real, accepting, hope-filled and effective approach to walk with clients through their difficulties. I utilize adaptive approaches that focus on client strengths, pace treatment to client preference and needs, and offer skills and practice for stress relief in every session. If you are a biblical Christian, I can offer distinctively Christian interventions.
My experience includes being a trained EMDR therapist, training and supervising ministry team of adults who minister to others who are hurting, equine assisted psychotherapy and EAGALA model, trauma focus cognitive behavioral therapy for child and adolescent crime victims, outdoor child centered play therapy for child crime and abuse victims, life skill training for homeless mother's with children, reflective parenting program development and group facilitation, parental support for children and adolescents in treatment.
MEET TIM:
Tim brings a wealth of knowledge and experiencing into his counseling practice with multiple advanced degrees in Orientation & Mobility and Vision Rehabilitation Therapy, and now his third pursuit of counseling degree with Liberty University (CACREP!)

He uses a collaborative approach to promote novel ways of thinking, responding, and living. He is passionate about working with adults facing addiction recovery, anxiety, depression, grief, and relationship challenges.
Tim also provides support to those navigating the emotional impact of loss and disability. His work is rooted in a person-centered and strengths-based approach to build resilience and restore hope. He is a faithful Christian believer who can integrate your faith in the counseling process. Tim currenly offers secure telehealth appointments for $90 private pay with a superbill for your filing insurance.
